My Story
From the time I was a little girl, I remember desiring to know Jesus. There was just one problem, I wasn’t sure how to accomplish that. I heard the stories about him, and wondered what it would be like to be a friend of his. Have you ever learned so much about someone, but you’ve never met them? That was me, with God. I knew a lot about him, which made it feel as though I knew him, but really I just had built 18 years of knowledge.
Until one night at what seemingly was “another” worship night for young adults. It was there that my eyes were open to the good news; the love of God begins with God loving me, not me loving him. In that moment, I experienced the love of God and I have not looked back. I am fully convinced of the love of God and that the gospel that has everything to do with God.
I have always loved building relationships and most people would describe me as “bubbly” or “joyful.” My dreams have always had people at the center. In my opinion, ingredients to making an amazing day include coffee, people I love, and God’s presence.
God has been intentional with his design of me, which is displayed in what he has called me to do. He has designed me to love people, and so he called me to learn to share his love with the lost. He has designed me to be a leader, so he called me to empowers others into their original identity. He has designed me to have a mother’s heart, so he called me to have a heart of compassion for those who are lost, confused or hurt.
He has called me to live a missional life, to reach my generation by serving with Circuit Riders full time! Dedicating my time to serving university by sharing the gospel and activating them to be evangelists to reach their generation!
Although there is much more I could say, I will leave that for in-person conversations! Thank you for taking time to hear a bit about me. I hope to meet and connect with you soon!
MY WORK WITH CIRCUIT RIDERS
Circuit Riders has many different expressions and campaigns, but I work specifically work with Carry the Love.
Carry the Love is a campaign to inspire a generation to love like Jesus.
SEE THE NEED. MEET WITH LOVE. REPEAT
How it All Began
In 2012 a group of young evangelists with Circuit Riders dreamed of bringing the Gospel and seeing a generation saved on college campuses. What started as an evangelistic gathering at University of Southern California became a national movement. First, spreading across California and then the nation. Today Carry The Love reaches 100s of universities across America, Europe and Africa.
I work with students and young people to build grass-roots teams that focus on uniting believers unto activation and outreach. Practically, this is expressed through multi-day gatherings and outreaches – where Circuit Riders sends outreach teams to work with and serve students in their mission to activate their peers to love like Jesus and reach their campus.
THE MISSION
The mission is two-fold. To reach the a lost generation and to activate a generation to love and evangelism. We want to see the acceleration of evangelism on Universities across America and the Nations.
HOW WE DO IT
As Circuit Riders, we partner with students who are hungry to reach their campus. Our focus is on uniting believers to train and activate them as evangelists. We then work with them to start evangelistic initiatives on their campus.
WHY IS CARRY THE LOVE NECESSARY?
Carry The Love exists to bring a culture shift in evangelism on college campuses. From our research only 1-5% of students on an average campus in America are engaged in a Christian club or organization. Carry the love exists to accelerate and strengthen the work of evangelism on every campus in America.
Every year, Circuit Riders sends out teams that reach all of America and Europe! I have been specifically assigned to the East Coast with students who attend Universities in New England. With a team we follow this model, and have seen Jesus move in wild ways!
The goal is to serve the call of each university student and see them encountered by the love of Jesus and be burdened with Christ’s heart for the lost. This is key for this become a lifestyle no matter where they are called.
